There’s nothing quite like the lights going down at the start of a production, the anticipation hanging in the air and the orchestra playing its opening bars with a wall of sound that will captivate each member of an audience. Of course you want to be a part of that! Our orchestra is ever-growing so if you play an instrument, we encourage you to submit an enquiry and your CV to be a part of our next production.

If you love to sing but would rather keep out of the spotlight and off the stage, you can still audition and express your interest to be involved as a pit singer.

An important [and large] part of any production are the costumes and makeup. They set the scene and help make each character come to life on stage. Maybe you have a vision for the costume design of one of our productions and want to lead a team or you’re interested to get involved behind the scenes, measuring and resizing costumes, repairing or even creating costumes. There are also avenues for helping with hair and makeup too. Our costume department can never have too many helping hands so if you’re interested, we’d love you to join the team!

Props are a fantastic way to get involved with a show. After all, an inn isn’t complete without food and drink props, a busy market incomplete without wares to sell or a factory incomplete without tools and goods. It’s also important that props are from the right era or antiqued in a way that shows age in order to set any scene properly. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, submit your interest below.

Working backstage can include anything from stage crew to sound or lighting so if you have a keen interest in working behind the scenes in a production or are interested to gain experience understanding the inner workings of a production, this is for you!
